If you’re not having fun, you’re doing it wrong.

Paint and Weather A Warhammer 40K Deathwing Ballistus Dreadnought

Building this Ballistus Dreadnought was quite a bit of fun. I was pretty happy with how the bone colored armor turned out. Happily I didn’t have to toss out a load of cash to get the whole Leviathan box set either – I picked this one up on Ebay as a standalone model.

Overall, it’s a great kit that is fun to paint and weather, and I’d recommend to it to any model builder – Warhammer 40K player or not.

  1. I love the weathering effect and paint scheme. Such a cool look! Very well done! I plan on practicing weathering techniques on the dreadnaught I got in my leviathan box. Cheers!
